Self-Tanners can be a great way to achieve a quick, sun-kissed look without causing future damage to your skin and risking the development of skin cancer. Finding a good sunless tanning product, however, can be quite a daunting task. I have been through many of them and walked around looking ridiculous as a result. Most of them seem to leave me with either an odd orange color or very yellowish looking tone. I have been streaked, blotchy, and had some pretty horrifying results.
Over the last few years of this trial and error process, I have managed to find some really great self-tanning products that have very nice results. I have also learned a lot of lessons along the way and have sort of perfected the process of applying self-tanners. I have shared my experience with choosing a good self tanning product, the steps I take to achieve a perfect, even tan, and how to pro-long your tan and save money on products on the Application Guide tab of this blog.
